Sustainability and Transformation Plans / Local Maternity Systems
As part of the NHS Five Year Forward View, organisations have been asked to develop Sustainability and Transformation Plans (STPs) for the NHS in their area.
Better Births recommended that providers and commissioners should come together as Local Maternity Systems across an area - which is generally the same as the STP footprint. The STP for our area is Norfolk and Waveney - therefore Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital will be working with James Paget Hospital in Gorleston, and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kings Lynn
In addition to this, Norfolk and Norwich MSLC are also involved in an East of England network, and also the National Maternity Voices network
